Roisin is the Director and Senior Speech Pathologist here at The Speech Spot Illawarra. After graduating as a Speech Pathologist in 2011 from the University of Sydney, she relocated to Wollongong and has been fortunate to work in public, private and non-government organisations with the region.

Along the way, she developed a special interest in complex communication needs and began to specialise in AAC assessment and prescription as well as feeding difficulties in children.

She started The Speech Spot Illawarra so that she could continue her passion of supporting complex communicators and their families as well as support her own growing family’s needs – Roisin is the mum to 4 children!

When she isn’t at work, she loves:

  • Being at home with her husband (Michael aka The Speech Spot’s Practice Manager) and their four children – Matthew, Elizabeth, Patrick and Eloise

  • Cooking especially baking yummy treats which don’t last long in her household

  • Swimming even in winter

  • ANYTHING DISNEY!!!!
